Trafo Elettro successfully participated in KEY – The Energy Transition Expo, held in Rimini from 4 to 6 March 2026, one of the leading European events dedicated to renewable energy and the technologies driving the energy transition. For our company, this edition marked a particularly meaningful milestone, as it was the first time Trafo Elettro exhibited at KEY. We approached the event with great expectations and were pleased to experience strong interest from visitors, professionals and companies operating across the renewable energy and industrial sectors. Throughout the three days, our stand Hall C7 – Stand 121 became a meeting point for conversations about energy infrastructure, power reliability and the role of transformer technology in supporting the rapid evolution of energy systems. Visitors had the opportunity to discover our oil-filled and cast resin transformers, designed to ensure efficiency, reliability and long-term performance in demanding applications such as renewable plants, industrial facilities and complex energy projects. Trafo Elettro has successfully taken part in Data Centre World London, one of the leading international events dedicated to critical infrastructure and Data Centre technologies. A successful three day showcase at Matelec 2025
Matelec has come to a close after three intense and rewarding days filled with meetings, technical discussions and new opportunities. For Trafo Elettro, it was a valuable occasion to present our large oil immersed power transformer and our next generation cast resin transformer, but above all to engage with professionals from across the electrical industry. The interest shown, the depth of the conversations and the many questions we received confirm how strongly the market is looking for reliable, customised solutions that can support the energy transition with real, measurable performance. Tech Show Madrid 2025 has come to an end, and what a fantastic edition it has been!Over 27,000 attendees, 470 exhibiting companies, and 400 speakers turned Madrid into the beating heart of technological innovation for two inspiring days. For Trafo Elettro, it was a powerful opportunity to showcase our advanced transformer solutions, from oil-immersed to cast resin and amorphous technologies, and to connect with professionals who share our vision of a smarter, more sustainable energy future. The event’s vibrant atmosphere, part of Madrid Tech Week, reflected the same spirit that drives us: innovation, collaboration, and transformation. A new Trafo Elettro transformer is ready for shipment to Colombia. It’s an oil-immersed transformer, 20,000 kVA, 110/6.9 kV, YNd11, 60 Hz, designed for a hydroelectric power plant. Trafo Elettro is pleased to announce its participation in the Career Day organised by the Department of Management and Engineering (DTG) of the University of Padua, in collaboration with the Fondazione Studi Universitari di Vicenza (FSU).The event will take place on Tuesday, October 23, 2025, at the university campus in Vicenza (Viale Margherita 87). This initiative offers an excellent opportunity to meet students and recent graduates from the master’s degree programmes in engineering and management, fostering direct dialogue between academia and industry.Our team will be present to share insights into Trafo Elettro’s activities, values, and the professional opportunities within our company. A thesis for a Master’s Degree dedicated to Trafo Elettro
A new milestone enriches Trafo Elettro’s growth path. Mattia Pallone, the company’s QHSE Manager, has obtained a Level I Master’s Degree in Strategic Environmental Management, presenting a thesis entitled: “Application of Life Cycle Assessment for the development of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD): the case of Trafo Elettro S.r.l.’s resin transformers.“ The thesis explored the role of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), a methodology that analyzes the environmental impact of a product throughout its life cycle, from production to use to end of life, and which represents the scientific basis for the development of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).These tools, verified by third parties, allow for transparent communication of a product’s environmental performance, providing the market with objective and comparable data and supporting increasingly informed choices. A particularly noteworthy aspect is that the study underlying the EPDs was conducted internally by Trafo Elettro, demonstrating the solidity of the expertise developed within the company. The work was then subjected to an independent verification process, which certified its scientific validity and compliance with international standards. The announcement ceremony was also attended by Alessio Schenato, owner of Trafo Elettro, and Mauro Grana, General Manager, who emphasized the importance of this achievement. “Investing in the training of our employees means investing in the future of the company. Trafo Elettro obtains two Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)
Trafo Elettro has reached a new milestone in its sustainable growth journey with the publication of two Environmental Product Declarations (EPD): EPDITALY 1073 – Resin transformers 2500 kVA EPDITALY 1074 – Resin transformers 3500 kVA TES-R2-2 3500kVA 20.4/0,400kV Dyn11 50Hz EPDs are third-party verified certifications that provide transparent and comparable information on the environmental impact of a product throughout its entire life cycle. They are an increasingly important tool for our customers, enabling them to objectively assess the environmental performance of transformers and make informed and responsible choices. The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study underlying the EPDs was conducted internally by Trafo Elettro and subsequently subjected to independent verification to ensure scientific soundness and compliance with standards. The work was carried out in accordance with the criteria set out in UNI EN ISO 14025:2010 and the relevant Product Category Rules, which define the guidelines for the product category. For Trafo Elettro, these two new EPDs represent not only official recognition, but also confirmation of a concrete commitment: developing innovative and sustainable solutions, in line with international standards and the expectations of a market that is increasingly focused on environmental responsibility. This result strengthens our customers’ trust and demonstrates the daily commitment of our team, which is determined to drive forward the energy transition with expertise, transparency and vision. An afternoon together to celebrate our growth journey On Friday, June 13, Trafo Elettro opened the doors of its headquarters for Endless Transformation, Endless Care a special afternoon dedicated to the people who contribute to the company’s growth every day. The event, strongly desired by the owners, the Schenato family, was born from the desire to create an authentic and convivial moment of encounter, also open to family and friends. An opportunity to share some important milestones that mark a decisive stage in the path of continuous transformation undertaken by Trafo Elettro: The achievement of ISO 45001 certification, which recognizes a commitment to occupational health and safety Passing the short-circuit withstand test on a 15MVA transformer, conducted by CESI – KEMA Labs The successful completion of ATEX testing, which also qualifies the company to operate in explosion-hazardous environments During the event it was emphasized that these results represent not a point of arrival, but the beginning of a structured and continuous journey towards excellence, based on quality, innovation, safety and shared responsibility. “What we are celebrating today is not a milestone, but the beginning of a journey.
