Sokol – Moscow Metro

Trafo Elettro has recently supplied n.8 cast resin transformers to Sokol metro station in Moscow.

It is a Moscow metro station on the Zamoskvoretskaya line. The station opened on 11 September 1938 and it features a single row of pillars which flare upward into the arched ceiling, separated by circular coffers.

Currently it is identified as an object of cultural heritage.

Transformers have the following technical characteristics:

Nr.2 cast resin transformers

Power: 2000kVA
Primary voltage volt: 10000 ±2×2,5%
Secondary voltage at no load volt: 400+n
Vector group: Dyn11

Nr.4 cast resin transformers

Power: 1000kVA
Primary voltage volt: 10000 ±2×2,5%
Secondary voltage at no load volt: 400+n
Vector group: Dyn11

Nr.2 cast resin transformers

Power: 630kVA
Primary voltage volt: 10000 ±2×2,5%
Secondary voltage at no load volt: 400+n
Vector group: Dyn11

Summer closure

Trafo Elettro will be closed for the summer holidays
from 10 to 21 August 2026.
We will reopen on Monday 25 August.
