Hydroelectric Power Plant
Hydroelectric Power Plant Trafo Elettro supplied n.2 oil immersed transformers 12MVA to a hydroelectric power plant near Ringerike municipality, Buskerud county, Norway. This power plant produces 115 GWh annually with a reduction of CO2 emissions of 74 tons. Transformers have the following technical characteristics: Power: 12000kVA Primary voltage volt: 22000 Secondary voltage at no load volt: 7400 Vector group: YNd5 Corrosivity category: C4-M Transformers have been subjected to all type tests, in particular the heating test, the case pressure test and measurement of permanent deformation, the frequency response test (SFRA) and the DIRANA test which analyses and determines the water content and the oil conductivity in different types of cellulose insulation. DIRANA uses dielectric frequency response (DFR) analysis in order to determine the condition of high-voltage insulation systems such as those in power transformers, bushings, cables and generators and connected to own software that automatically generates test plans based on the nameplate data. The measurement results obtained are automatically compared and evaluated according to international standards or customized limit values. The customer followed all routine and special tests remotely and he was satisfied with the seriousness and technical skills. Trafo Elettro invests daily in research and development using the latest generation equipment in order to guarantee a product of excellent quality.
Oil Power Transformer 15MVA
Oil Power Transformer 15MVA Trafo Elettro supplied n.1 oil power transformer 15MVA to one of the top five companies in Europe that produces aluminium. The company is based in Segorbe (Castellón, Spain) and each year transforms over 67.000 tonnes of scrap into 50.000 tonnes of aluminium. Waste-to-energy plant
Waste-to-energy plant Trafo Elettro supplied n.1 oil transformer 10/13MVA to the new waste-to-energy plant in Parona (PV) – Italy, for the construction of a new, more efficient and less environmental impact, line that will replace the existing one built on 1999. The transformer has the following technical characteristics: Power: 10000/13000kVA ONAN/ONAF Primary voltage volt: 11000 ±5×1,25% OLTC Secondary voltage at no load volt: 6000 Vector group: Dyn11 This transformer is equipped with special accessories like online gas monitoring device and maintenance free silicagel breather. The design was specifically studied in order to meet customer needs.
Hydroelectric Power Plant
Hydroelectric Power Plant Trafo Elettro supplied n.1 hermetically sealed oil immersed transformer 10MVA with vegetal oil to a hydroelectric power plant in Norway. The unit is filled with natural esters to ensure fire safety and environmental benefits to the customer. This power plant will produce 37.3 GWh annually, which corresponds to electricity for more than 1800 households. More than 200 million NOK have been invested in this project. Photovoltaic Power Plant
Photovoltaic Power Plant Trafo Elettro has recently supplied n.40 cast resin transformers 2050kVA to the biggest solar power plant in Africa. It is located in Northern Cape Province, near Kimberly, and it counts more than 325.000 PV panels. This 96MW photovoltaic power station generates 180GWh of clean and renewable energy that is sufficient to power more than 80.000 homes in South Africa. Also, it is expected to offset 145.891 t of carbon dioxide every year from the atmosphere. The plant is spread over in 180ha and, apart from providing sustainable energy, also helped in job creation and is promoting economic development in the region. Railway – Valencia
Nudo de La Teja e Alcudia de Crespins Trafo Elettro has recently supplied n.2 oil immersed transformers 250kVA for a new railway section “Nudo de La Teja e Alcudia de Crespins” in Valencia – Spain. The construction of this line, 40km long, is a preliminary phase necessary to carry out the high-speed connection between Valencia, Alicante, Elche and Murcia. The budget allocated for this project is 13,9 million euros. Sokol – Moscow Metro
Sokol – Moscow Metro Trafo Elettro has recently supplied n.8 cast resin transformers to Sokol metro station in Moscow. It is a Moscow metro station on the Zamoskvoretskaya line. The station opened on 11 September 1938 and it features a single row of pillars which flare upward into the arched ceiling, separated by circular coffers. Currently it is identified as an object of cultural heritage. Visit by the regional minister of labour The regional minister of labour has recently visited Trafo Elettro Srl, a reality born in a small laboratory in 1969, which today competes internationally in the production of cast resin transformers, oil transformers, amorphous transformers and special units. The minister was impressed by the company that operates almost exclusively on the foreign market with an internal technical office dedicated to research and development and an eye on innovation and environmental sustainability.
