Oil Power Transformer 18,75MVA
Oil power transformer 18,75MVA Trafo Elettro has recently supplied one oil filled power transformer 18,75MVA 69kV to a hydropower plant in South America. On 2013, at the first stage of the project, Trafo Elettro supplied nr.3 oil filled transformers 8000kVA and on 2017 the customer commissioned the new 18,75MVA transformer for the second part of the project. With this extension the plant is now able to generate a total power of 40MW of green energy with a nice CO2 emission saving.
Oil Power Transformer 13MVA
Oil power transformer 13MVA Trafo Elettro has recently supplied an oil power transformer 13MVA to the hydropower plant Vilar do Monte. It is located in northern Portugal, on the Vouga River. It consists of a 14.8m high dam, a power house equipped two horizontal Francis turbines, a 2970m long tunnel, all designed to minimize visual impact. The plant will supply 11.000 households, with clean energy with a saving of approx. 9.000 tons of CO2 every year.
Automotive Production Plant
Automotive production plant Recently supplied nr. 6 cast resin transformers 1600kVA 11/0,4kV to one of the most important automotive production plant in Tshwane (South Africa). This new generation plant will be able to produce slightly more than 6000 cars per month of one of the most established German car’s brand. Most of the units will be exported to Europe. This important target has been achieved together with our local partner in South Africa.

Oil Power Transformer 18MVA
Oil Power Transformer 18MVA Trafo Elettro has recently supplied and installed an oil filled power transformer 18 MVA with ratio 66/13,8kV to a hydro power plant in the Chilean Región del Maule. The hydro power plant uses water from the Colorado River and is located 160km downstream, where the river flows into the San Pedro stream. The transformer was dismantled into individual parts in order to be transported and then reassembled on site.
Cast Resin Power Transformer 16MVA
Cast Resin Power Transformer 16MVA Trafo Elettro has supplied, to a paper mill in Poland, a cast resin power transformer 16MVA 21000/10500kV with On Load Tap Changer, which allows to have an automatic stabilized voltage on the secondary side. Trafo Elettro would like to thank all the staff for contributing to this important project.
IP54 Enclosure
IP54 Enclosure Trafo Elettro has recently provided nr. 2 cast resin transformers 630kVA with IP54 Enclosure. The place where the transformers have been installed is full of sulfites, therefore the customer needed to have the transformers completely protected against corrosion. Trafo Elettro Technical Department has designed the transformer and the enclosure in order to guarantee a correct and efficient thermal disposal. Meaning of IP54 5 Ingress of dust is not entirely prevented, but it must not enter in sufficient quantity to interfere with the satisfactory operation of the equipment 4 Water splashing against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect.

Oil Power Transformer 10MVA On December 15th 2017, Trafo Elettro has supplied to a spinning mill in Bangladesh an oil power transformer 10MVA 33/11 kV with On Load Tap Changer.
